Lleida.net opens in Johannesburg with a local partnership

Lleida.net Johannesburg branch office has the marketing and strategic support of Clive Rice, a former South African international cricketer, founder and CEO of a South African technology company. He will be in charge during the processing of business transactions in Lleida.net new office. The partnership arises from the synergies between the two companies and the common understanding, a shared vision of a model of growth based upon sustainable development and innovation. "I have been extremely happy to be part of Lleida.net in Johannesburg" Rice says. "We have found a successful formula to work together and we are confident that our services, much needed in today's society, will bring added value to the companies and users of the area”.

South Africa is a crucial element in Lleida.net international expansion strategy.

Guillermo Martinez, Lleida.net International Vice-president states that "the significance of South Africa in our international expansion strategy is crucial". South Africa sprawling geography and the fact that the city hosts national and international headquarters in Cape Town and Johannesburg, has great growth prospects. At the same time, data show that Johannesburg is the fourth fastest growing GSM (Global Systems for Mobile Communications) market in the world and is growing at a rate of 50% per annum. There are more cell phones than there are landlines in South Africa.

"We also found that besides being a market ready to welcome our services, South Africa is also a gateway to other countries in the region with good business prospects for us. Johannesburg opening is yet another step in our continually expanding footprint" Clara Holgado, UK Country manager states.
