ALD Automotive to engage Lleida.net contracting and electronic notification services
Madrid 4 May.- The vehicle fleet and rental company ALD Automotive has signed a contract with the dual listed Spanish company Lleida.net (BME: LLN; EURONEXT: ALLN) to provide its registered notification and contracting services.
ALD Automotive, a fully owned subsidiary of Société Générale group, will use the technology of the IT company to guarantee reliable communications to its customers. The contract lasts for one year and is renewable.
Founded in Spain in 1992 , it has a client base of over 27,000 customers among large corporates, SMEs, professionals and private individuals and a fleet exceeding 119,000 vehicles.
ADL automotive is active in 43 countries, and manages around 1,76 million vehicles.
"The automotive and car rental sectors have been favoured by the use of technologies such as those developed by Lleida.net in terms of registered communications," explained Sisco Sapena, CEO and founder of Lleida.net.
"Gradually and following the recent changes in the business fabric due to the current lockdown , the electronic signature of contracts and the electronic receipt of notifications is going to be consolidated definitively," he added.
Lleida.net is one of the main European players in the eSignature market. At the end of 2018, it was recognized as the first Spanish company to receive eIDAS approval for qualified certified electronic registered delivery service.
As a result, all electronic documentary evidence issued by Lleida.net are admitted by any European court or administration.
The company, which in the last five years has reinforced the creation of new technologies in the framework of trusted digital services, has over 110 patents in electronic certification methods the European Union , United States, Australia, Japan, China and the Middle East.
Currently, over 70 countries recognize the legal validity of electronic methods to certify legal notifications in contracting processes.
